1930-40- "3 7/8" Vintage Frozen Charlotte Penny Doll Indian Chief -In excellent vintage playwear condition. Penny dolls were only fired once so often do not have much paint left, paint is factory perfect with little wear. There are NO major cracks or breaks! This delightful Penny doll is marked in mold on back - JAPAN. Painted features on face include eyebrows, eyes and mouth. This lil chief is a wonderful addition for your collection.

1930-40- 2 3/4 Vintage Bisque Frozen Penny doll set of 8 perfect in box.- This set is so rarely found in this condition or assortment .The second firing was not done on Penny dolls so often the color is worn off but these have all their paint front and back. This smaller size is also not seen as often. The box is in good shape with the exception of a child, Jean Frey signed her name and “Second grade” on top with ink. “Japan” is in mold mark on back of each doll.3 of the dolls also have silk ribbon accessory.

Penny Boy Doll

This doll has seen alot of love! 2 3/4" Frozen Penny boy has no chips or cracks and has nice molded details! Paint is almost totally loved off but there are traces of a lime green hat, pink bow tie red shorts and brown shoes. I think he is holding a ruler and a bat but is hard to tell. Very sweet face. JAPAN is molded on his bottom.

This darling 3.5" bisque Frozen Penny doll is ready for the winter in a molded and painted stocking hat, red painted sweater and blue painted shorts/skirt. Has molded socks and shoes with a bit of brown paint still on shoes. Sweater, hat and skirt all have knit detail in mold which is a nice detail. Has a bob haircut that is molded and painted blond. Paint is in really bright condition on most of piece except left arm. There is a small original dash of gold paint on rt cheek. The right toe looks like a chip but there is brown pain over so this was as it came from factory.

1850's German China Head

Based on hairstyle I place this doll 1850 to 1900 Germany china head. Her arms and legs are unglazed bisque with the exception of the brown high heel shoes that include small heels. This 6 3/4" beauty has a wonderful feel in the palm of your hand and has been crafted with love. The call out on this doll is her costume that has been hand sewn with cream taffeta then 2 layers of black netting. The black netting overskirt has some elaborate beadwork at the hem and waist and even has a bustle detail.

Sasha Harlequin by Trenton

This is a “Harlequin Sasha” that was produced in 1984 by the Trendon/Sasha Dolls Ltd of Stockport, England owned by the Doggarts and distributed by International Playthings in the US.  Sasha dolls were created by the late Sasha Morgenthaler (1893 - 1975), a Swiss artist and artisan. She was also a humanitarian and a keen observer of all the world's children.
